I am an integrative therapist, which allows me to draw from several techniques and tailor them to your individual needs and circumstances.
I aim to create a safe and non-judgemental environment, and will help you to gain insight into any difficulties you are facing, and find the strategies that will enable you to thrive. I have experience of working with individuals affected by anxiety, addiction, PTSD, and have worked extensively with women experiencing and recovering from trauma. I will help you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and discover a way forward that is right for you.
Prior to becoming a Psychotherapist, I worked for over 15 years within social care, providing support to children and families.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and always follow the principles of confidentially, empathy and congruence.
My practice is based in Surbiton, and also in a dedicated counselling centre in Kingston-upon-Thames.
